Trek Plan

We leave Haridwar at the dawn to begin the road journey that will take us all the way to Joshimath.

We are going to drive along the banks of the Ganga, which is a really important river. During this extraordinary trip by car, we will pass through Panch-Prayag, also known as the five holy confluences of the Alaknanda river. These confluences are known as Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nandaprayag, respectively. As we climb higher, the river assumes a more unpredictable and intriguing character. Make sure that your cameras are charged and ready for the trip! When we reach at Joshimath, we will be greeted with a multitude of snow-capped peaks. Before beginning the walk, enjoy a delectable meal at the inn, and then have a good night's rest there.

Following a quick breakfast, we will go on the rough journey to Dhak village, which will take around half an hour. The beginning of our trek is at the town of Dhak, and the Kuari pass route will take us into a peaceful forest filled with towering oak trees. As you make your way up into the mountains and take in the breathtaking scenery, the enchantment of this path will begin to become more apparent. As you make your way up, majestic oak trees will be waiting to greet you at the breathtaking campground, which is filled with pink and white rhododendron. Our journey to the Gulling campground, which is situated in the heart of the woodland, will take us past a walnut forest as well as some meadows. From the campground, you will get a clear view of Dronagiri and Hathi-Ghori Parvat.

This day is spent getting ready for the last ascent to the Tali Campsite. There aren't any especially challenging sections of the ascent, but you'll spend the next 4 km making your way upward. The campground at Tali is tucked away in the thick of the forest, and once you get there, you'll be pleased you did because a crew will be waiting for you with hot beverages and refreshments.

We are going to start our trek to Kuari Top today so that we may take in the breathtaking vistas of the mountains that are in the area. The day spent on the mountain will often take between nine and ten hours, depending on the speed of the party. On the ridges today, you should prepare for heavy snowfall and powerful winds by bringing proper gear with you. The towering peaks of the Uttarakhand Himalayas may be seen in every direction when seen from the peak's vantage point. Kedarnath Peak, Kedar Dome, Chaukhambha, Balakun, Neel Kantha, Mukut Parvat, Kamet, Abhi Gamin, Mana I, Ghori Parvat, Hathi Parvat, Dronagiri, Kalanag, Chang Bang, Nanda Devi, and Nanda Ghunti are some of the mountains that can be seen from here. This vista is really breathtaking, and its majesty is sure to leave an indelible mark on your heart. After descending to the campground in the Tali forest, we enjoy a hot dinner and then relax.

The breathtaking vistas do not stop here! We are going to get views of the mountains today that are so breathtaking that they will make you lose your breath. To begin, we will pay a visit to the breathtaking Tali lake, from where we will get unobstructed views of Nanda Devi, the tallest peak that is located in India in its whole. You'll be walking across a wonderful wide-open meadow in Gorson Bugyal for the next five km; the snow will make the scenery seem just stunning. As you travel back to Joshimath from Dhak, take in the snow and the surrounding countryside. Your journey comes to a conclusion here, and it's high time that you had a long, hot shower, kicked back, and celebrated!

The journey comes to an end today. We will have an early breakfast and drive from Joshimath to Haridwar.
